Chelsea Baseball Club Summer Head Coach EOI

Chelsea Baseball Club is on the move and looking for expressions of interest to become our club coach for the 2017/18 Summer Season.

With a long standing history in the sport Chelsea Baseball Club was founded back in 1949.
Located at the new HD Bert Pavilion at Edithvale Recreation Reserve our facilities are second to none. Comprising of new club rooms, canteen, change rooms, new scorers box, and one of the best diamonds in the association the lucky candidate has the World at their feet.

We have worked hard over the past 5 years and are now seeing reward for effort with the club facilitating and fielding a T-Ball program, junior program, senior men’s program, master’s program and potentially a women’s program within the next 2 seasons.

Chelsea has had a long history of success and in recent years our success has been rebuilding our club off the field.  We are now looking for a club coach that can take us to the next level on field with the full backing and support of the Committee.

We are seeking change within our club and we want you!

We believe our coach will provide coaching and mentoring for all players as well as empower both senior and junior coaches throughout the club to follow his / her philosophy, tactics and methods.

We are seeking an individual who can commit their time and energy to the Club
Other duties are as follows –

  • Recruitment / maintaining of players
  • Creating a winning culture
  • Match selection for all senior teams in conjunction with team managers
  • Maintaining our junior program to promote and retain junior talent
  • Upholding our Code of Conduct
  • Attending club functions

Remuneration can be discussed with the right candidate.
